Pool Information

The Newington Forest Pool is a private pool, open to residents of the Newington Forest Community Association and their guests, and open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.

POOL REGISTRATION – ACCESS GRANTED:
Registration is only open to full-time residents of the Newington Forest Community Association. If you are a Property Owner and registered to use the pool in 2023 - 2025, you do NOT need to re-register again this year unless you have an addition or change to your household.

Tenants must register each year and include a 2026 Tenant Form with their registration.

Registration Instructions:
Complete the online pool registration for you and your household, adding each resident of your household as a Patron. A headshot photo is required and will be used to validate membership access when patrons check in at the pool.

Once the registration is submitted, residents will receive a confirmation email stating that it has been received. Then, residents will receive a second email when their registration has been processed and approved.

ENTERING THE POOL:
Every resident must be registered to access the pool. There is no physical pool pass. Newington Forest uses a check-in system at the pool desk, and residents enter the pool by giving their full name at the pool entrance. From time to time, there are delayed openings and early closings due to Swim Team Meets or other activities. Please be sure to check the Community Calendar when planning your visit.

As always, property accounts must be in good standing to allow resident access to the pool (quarterly HOA dues paid in full and no outstanding property inspection violation cited as a Board Hearing Notice from the prior year).

GUESTS:
No guests are permitted during the opening weekend (Saturday - Monday). Guests must accompany a resident when using the pool. The fee for guests is $ 5 per guest per day, or a Multi-Use guest pass may be purchased through the Association office. The cost is $35 for 10 visits and $70 for 20 visits.

No Special Passes will be issued for pool access. This includes grandchild, daycare, and nanny. The daily guest fee or Multi-Use guest pass should be utilized used to bring non-residents into the pool facility.

POOL PARTIES:
Patrons may reserve the back grassy area of the pool for a 2-hour timeframe on a first-come, first-served basis by completing and submitting a Pool Party Registration Form (see below). Up to 2 parties are allowed per day. Pool parties will not be scheduled on holidays. Email completed Pool Party Forms to [email protected]

NEPTUNE SWIM TEAM – COMMUNITY IN THE FOREST:
Children 4-18 years old are encouraged to check out the Newington Forest Swim Team! Information may be found at their website or by emailing [email protected]

SWIMMING LESSONS:
Swim lessons are scheduled directly with Crystal Aquatics staff at the pool or by calling the pool (703)440-9034. Private and group lessons are available.
