Pool Information

The Newington Forest Community Association pool is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend and the pool is professionally managed by Crystal Aquatics. The pool phone number (during pool season): (703)440-9034. Use this phone number to contact the pool staff directly and to check the status of the pool opening during inclement weather.

POOL REGISTRATION 2024
Residents who live in Newington Forest and registered to use the pool during the 2023 pool season are all set to use the pool in 2024 (no new pool registration is needed)!

Residents who are new to the community and residents who did not register last year (or any year before 2023) may APPLY ONLINE USING THE ACCESS GRANTED LINK to register for the 2024 pool season. This page has a link to the Online Application, the Pool Rules (PR6), the Tenant Form (to be completed by property owners and used to validate the renter resident’s registration).

To register, click APPLY ONLINE and complete the application. Residents will complete the Household section and then add each member of their household as a Patron. All Patrons MUST upload a recent photo for their registration to be accepted. Tenants/Renters MUST upload their tenant form for their registration to be accepted.

Once you submit your application online, you will receive a confirmation email that your application has been submitted, and then receive another email notification once your application has been approved.

That’s all. There is no physical pool pass. This is a Check-In system and the information entered on your application (Name and Photo) will allow you to check-in at the pool entrance and access the pool. Residents must be in good standing, with no outstanding quarterly assessment balance, to gain access to the pool. 

Guest Information
Guests are not allowed on opening weekend (this helps to ensure residents have the first opportunity to access the pool). Guests may come anytime after Monday, May 27th when accompanied by a resident who is registered to use the pool. The Guest Pass fee is $5 at the pool entrance (exact change - cash or check only) or by purchasing a Multi-Use Guest Pass from the Association office during weekday business hours ($35 for 10 visits or $70 for 20 visits).

Pool Parties 
Residents may reserve the back grassy area of the pool for a 2 hour timeframe at no cost by completing the Pool Party Reservation form at least 2 weeks in advance of their party. Send the completed Pool Party Reservation form to [email protected]  and once processed, you will receive a confirmation. 

Swim Lessons
Crystal Aquatics will continue to offer private swimming lessons for $30 per half-hour. Scheduling and payment is set up directly with the Pool Manager (or other pool staff designated instructor).
Group lessons are also available for $95 for 8 half-hour lessons (minimum enrollment required) and are scheduled before the pool opens for general swimming. Once the pool opens, call (703)440-9034 or visit the pool and speak to the staff on duty.
